First cuddles with Tiny TP

In Weka class, we have got a class pet.  We voted to call our rabbit Tiny TP.  She was a bit scared when she first arrived on Tuesday but now she is nice and calm and we all got a cuddle!  We closed the classroom door first, then we made a big circle so she didn't get crowded and just in case she jumps away, we could catch her easily.  We wrapped her up so she would feel secure.

"When I was holding Tiny TP, she was half asleep!" - Erastus (Whaea Pip thinks Mason and Erastus are the bunny whisperers because they both almost put her to sleep).

Fish and chip and fizz Friday...

After filling up our Warm Fuzzy jar by showing aroha and kaitiakitanga to one another, we got to have a Fish and Chip and Fizz Friday as a celebration for our kindness.  Tu meke, Weka!

Morning fitness

The weather is so much better than term 3, so we can get outside and really stretch our legs for fitness!  We are split into groups of four, and we do races that support our fine and gross motor development.  Some of these are really challenging (like crab walking) and some are really easy but fun (like skipping and singing the Smurfs tune).
